Have fun!

When's the last time you had fun?

What's something that you loved doing as a kid that you don't do anymore?

Last week I joined a tennis club and went to my first clinic where I played mixed doubles with a bunch of new strangers. After two hours of playing I came home and...

I felt alive.

I was grinning from ear to ear.

My body hurt, I could hardly walk and yet I was happy.

I couldn't remember the last time I felt this way.

I wanted more of it.

Then I started to reflect on the life I was living before.

I can get so caught up in work issues, money issues, parenting issues, home issues, more money issues that I forget to do anything else.

Its easy for me to be so focused on solving all the "problems" that I end up creating more problems. I become frustrated more easily, my anger creeps in, and I start to asigne blame to the people around me.

Its easy to focus on the stressers in life.

But when I play, have fun, reconnect with the things I love doing all that goes away. It gives me a clarity I could never have without it.

Make time for fun, make time to play, trust me its not going to kill you, you may end up liking it.

What's stopping you now?
